The Holiday Heroes are three young friends who decide to fight the gloom of winter by celebrating the mostly-overlooked holiday of Groundhog Day. They proceed to search the library and internet and consult trusted family members to learn about the history, traditions and meaning of the day. Then they use their imaginations and some rockin' music to create a day none of their friends will forget.

Jeff Snelling loves all holidays and any excuse for a celebration, often making up his own holidays just to celebrate things he likes. He lives in Carmichael, CA with his wife Lisa and two-year-old son Benjamin. One of Jeff''s favorite new activities is passing on to Benjamin the story of each holiday and why it is important.
