First the author adopts a wonderful kitten whom she names, Sebastian. He's the Heaven-sent Band-Aid that was needed at a time of several losses and provided the unconditional Love that soothed and softened the edges of some of Life's blows. Then when Sebastian takes off to discover his own Rite of Passage, many questions arise strengthening the faith and conviction that there is a stronger force out there that is in control and looking out for our good, helping us to learn the lessons we were sent here to learn and experience.
